Feels like homecoming at the Pennisula Music Festival
This is the 4th time that I have performed at the Peninsula Music Festival. It feels like a homecoming every time I perform there, because of the friends that I have made both in the orchestra and in the audience. Add to that delight, the fact that Liszt's 1st Concerto, to me, is the epitome of a Romantic concerto. The soloist is the virtuosic hero, and the orchestra is the dramatic counterpart that announces, supports, and indeed provides a dramatic soundtrack in the concerto.
